FIRST NIGHT ACCOMMODATION:

Payment:
$500 deposit (applied to rental costs) via Paypal (credit cards only; no
echeques) at time of booking.Online Reservation form MUST be
fully completed.
$1,000 security deposit, and balance of rental charges via Paypal due 30 days prior to picking
up unit.Payment MUST be made in the name of the person renting
the vehicle. No third parties. Security deposit refundable on
return of the unit in a clean and undamaged condition, with a
full gas tank and empty holding tanks.(May have holding period
of up to 48 hrs to allow for further inspection). If the
propane tank is not topped up, there will be a $25 charge!
Insurance:
$5,000,000 third party liability coverage. Renter is responsible for a $1,000 deductible ($500 for windshield damage).
Optional coverage known as CDR (Collision Deductible Reducer) is available at $23/day to reduce the insurance deductible of $1,000 to $0. (Not available for the Travelaire). This is not an insurance but a contractual agreement between RVrentalsvancouver.com and the renter, wherein RVrentalsvancouver.com agrees not to collect the deductible from the renter in the event of a motor vehicle accident, supported by a police and accident report.
Any damages caused to the roof or interior are not insured and would be the renter's responsibility.
Renters must have a valid Canadian or International driver's licence. Non Canadian renters must show photo ID (e.g. passport). Min age = 25 yrs; max age = 75 yrs. Only drivers listed on the rental contract are allowed to drive the vehicle.
Cancellation:
More than 30 days prior to departure: $50
7 to 30 days prior to departure: $200
Less than 7 days prior to departure: $500
Substitutions:
rvrentalsvancouver.com reserves the right to substitute models of similar or higher quality.
Hours of Operation:
Preferred pickup: Sat 13:00 - 15:00. Preferred return: Sat
08:30 - 11:00.(Latest return 7 PM, otherwise additional night
charged)
Other times by prior arrangement.

Restrictions
No travel on gravel, dirt or logging roads.
No travel on Hwy #20 West of Anaheim Lake
No towing allowed.
No travel to USA without prior permission.
No travel to Mexico.
No travel to the Burning Man in Nevada.
Roof storage and sitting or standing on the roof is not allowed
at any time.
Carriage of large items( eg Bikes, BBQs etc) in interior of unit
prohibited.
Renter's Responsibilities
Routine maintenance of fluid levels and tire pressures at
every gas stop.
Any damages resulting from the use of incorrect or contaminated
fuel will be charged to the renter.
In the unlikely event of mechanical repairs, any repairs over
$100 require prior approval, and receipts and replaced parts
will be required for reimbursement. Any damages to the brakes or
transmission due to misuse will be charged to the renter.
The renter is responsible for any traffic / parking tickets /
bridge tolls incurred during the rental period. Non reporting of
traffic / parking tickets may result in an admin charge of up to
$100, in addition to any fines. (Due to the Red light cameras in
Calgary, there may be an up to 30 day hold back of $200 from
security deposit)
Any traffic accidents must have a police report.
The number of passengers is not to exceed the number of
seatbelts (6).
Due to their fragile nature, awnings are off limits.
Sorry, no pets or smoking allowed.
Vehicle return
Vehicles to be returned at the time specified on the contract.
Any changes to the return time must be phoned in the day prior,
otherwise an overdue fee of $75/hr will be charged.
Vehicle must be returned with a full gas tank. Receipt required.
Holding tanks must be emptied, otherwise there will be a $25
charge.
Vehicles must be returned in a clean condition.If additional
cleaning required, a $50 charge may apply.
Consequential Damages
rvrentalsvancouver.com (dba Kevin Kerney) is not responsible for hotel charges, car rental, or any other incidental or consequential cost in the unlikely event of a breakdown (including but not limited to appliances). Not reponsible for loss of use of Fridge, Furnace or Lights due to a low or dead auxillary battery, if the unit is not plugged into an electrical hookup. Refunds are limited to the number of days the vehicle was not used.
